J.O.E. is still going strong! We’re learning job skills, helping in the community and staying connected.
Here’s what J.O.E. Baristas have been up to:

- Meeting weekly online with staff and volunteers to share ideas, experiences and J.O.E. jokes!
- Designing "J.O.E. Fun Sheets" distributed by the Guelph Children's Foundation, Lakeside Hope House and Guelph Public Library.
- Connecting with Community Living Toronto to provide resources for people who are isolated.
- Writing supportive postcards to students for the Guelph Neighbourhood Coalition's Backpack Project.
- Painting rocks with inspirational messages for the Guelph General Hospital front garden.
- Running a home-based café selling food to family members and donating proceeds to Guelph General Hospital. Thanks to J.O.E. Barista Ranju for his work on this.
- Holding a Food Drive for Lakeside Hope House.
- Decorating mandalas and posting them on our doors in honour of Guelph front-line workers.
- Donating art kits and writing caring note cards for Wellness Boxes distributed by the Community Company.
- Mentoring other adults with developmental disabilities at J.O.E.'S ONLINE Training Grounds Program.
